Coach Rodgers swam the 100 backstroke and dove in High School. Over the years his High School became a middle school, so he holds the school records forever in the 200 Free Relay and 1 meter diving. During his high school years, Coach Rodgers ran cross country and played soccer. He went to Augusta State University to play soccer, but due to injuries he transferred to the University of Georgia where he majored in Education with a minor in Mathematics. He completed his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Georgia State University and his Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership (with Coach Weaver) from Piedmont University. He is married to his wife, Alyza and they have three boys (Brent, Blake, and Brock).
